Just One Year Ago Today.....

It was August 26--just last year. Jamie was speaking at The Place in Reading, Pa. After the service, another minister who was visiting friends came over to him, prayed, and gave a word of prophecy that totally freaked Jamie out. Turns out that most of what the man said hit the nail on the head for how Jamie was feeling--sharing things that were on his heart that he didn't even tell me. Then he spoke the words that no one wanted to hear: "God is going to ask you to take a leap of faith in your ministry....you aren't going to want to do it...but it's His will and you need to do it." Being completely honest, neither Jamie or I were thrilled at the idea of another leap of faith. We were already overwhelmed with projects. What did this mean? What was God's plan? How big a leap were we talking? Over the next few weeks, Jamie continued to stress about it and me, being a great woman of faith (LOL) said, "Don't worry about it---he probably wasn't even right." Still, Jamie knew he was right about the first part of the prophecy. Anyway, we got busy with work and the holidays....Mantour season was coming soon....so we pushed it aside to see what God would do. It wasn't until January that God made it absolutely clear what the leap would be.....designated office space. I have to admit, this was completely unexpected. It wasn't anywhere on our radar and beyond anything we ever imagined. Yet, we knew this was the leap of faith God wanted us to take. Fast forward to August 26, 2019---one year later. After a year of saving, planning, working, praying and taking a gigantic leap of faith---beyond anything we could imagine or even afford---and today we are moving into the room. The designated office space for 4One Ministries is complete. We hope to be settled in by Labor Day. Honestly, I don't know what to say except that Life with the Heavenly Father is always an adventure. Once again, His plans for our lives were bigger than we could imagine and He thought we were stronger, more capable and more adventurous and full of faith than we did!!

Yet, as we followed Him, He has been faithful and has led us to a truly beautiful place. Today, I'm grateful, overwhelmed, and wondering "What's next?" because I'm learning that with God, there's always something.

These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16
