The Power of Moms

Without Jochabed's courage, courage, there would be no Moses.

Without Hannah's prayer, Samuel would not have been born.

Because Elizabeth trusted in God's timing, we have John the Baptist.

Because Mary was obedient, Jesus the Messiah was born.

Through the teaching of Eunice and Lois, Timothy became a great man of God and a leader in the New Testament church.

Who can tell what your courage, prayers, faithfulness, obedience, and willingness to teach your children God's ways will produce in your children's lives?

Mothers matter. The things you do and the values you teach your children significantly impact their lives.

While many in our society want to diminish motherhood, God honors it.

While the woke seems to redefine its meaning, calling you a "birthing person" and feminists encourage women to reject traditional roles and pursue their advancement, the Bible upholds motherhood as a high and holy calling.

Just like great women throughout history, women today hold the responsibility of the future in their hands. We need you—the church and the world need you—to teach your children the things of God.

We need you to share your love for Jesus with them and show them by example how to have a personal relationship with Him.

We need you to tell them Bible stories, build their faith in God, and teach them to live by Biblical principles.

It is so essential that you teach your kids to make the hard choices—to stand for truth and righteousness in a world that wants to fill their minds with lies and steal their innocence at a young age. We need you to stand up and be the Mama Bears who say, "No, you're not going to brainwash my kids or indoctrinate them with your lies."

The world needs you to fight for your kids and their friends who don't have anyone to fight for them.

Our world desperately needs you to be the mom who says "no." No to those who want to indoctrinate the next generation and "no" to the evil influences that seek access to your children's minds.

We need you to be warriors fighting on the front lines for the souls of your children and their friends.

This is who you are, and this is what you do.

This week we honor you for it.

Those of us who are not mothers are shouting from the sidelines, "Keep up the good work! Keep fighting the good fight of faith! Never give up!"

Remember, you aren't just raising babies, but you are raising the future leaders in God's kingdom. They are the lions of the faith who will lead us into the future.

Who knows what will someday be said about your influence in your kid's lives?

Mothers matter.

You carry tremendous influence.

Use your power for good—use it for God and see what He can do through you and your kids.

Happy Mothers Day!
