Have I Told You About My Air Fryer?

Have you ever met someone who got a new product and they just couldn’t wait to tell you all about it? For me, it’s been an air fryer. Yeah, I’m that girl. I love our air fryer. Jamie and I were kind of late to the air fryer craze. For months, we heard all of our friends talking about how great air fryers were, but we were always skeptical. Finally, after about a year and a half of hearing about the wonders of air frying, Best Buy had a sale, and we decided to give it a try. (It was pretty cheap—what did we have to lose?) As I said, it was love at first try. Our air fryer is amazing. In the winter, I can cook all the food that I usually make on a grill and it tastes just as delicious as it does cooked outside. Teriyaki chicken, barbecue chicken, even steak is superb in an air fryer! Have I told you about the potatoes? Best potatoes you ever tasted! Whether it’s tiny little breakfast potatoes, potato cubes, or french fries, they are just fantastic. And they don’t require oil, so they’re not so bad for you. As I said, I’m a big fan of the air fryer. Everywhere I go, I tell people about it because I want them to try it and enjoy it, too. After all, I heard about it from my friends, now I’m just passing it along. But here’s a thing, followers of Christ, you and I have something even better in our lives than air fryers. We have the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each of us has a story of what God has done for us and how much He has dramatically changed our lives. Because we are so thankful and grateful to Him, we should be as anxious to tell other people about Him as we are to talk about our favorite air fryer, favorite store, favorite recipe or the newest cosmetic we've tried. It should just be overflowing out of us. Why? Because we want other people to know Him, too. We want them to experience all the God has for them. We’re so grateful that someone told us about Jesus’ saving grace and the difference that He can make in our lives that we want to pass along the favor and tell other people all about it And really that’s all witnessing is: telling someone else about this Great Person that’s in your life. You just love God so much you can’t wait to pass it on.
